Ikebana lesson on April 15
We practiced the ikebana work with the leaves of Aspidistra. It is more difficult to use leaves than branches as they have planar impression. However, the participants created the 3D composition well with this materiel.

We practiced the vertical form with the branches of peach for the Doll’s Festival in Japan on March 3rd. The flowers of peach are very elegant and gorgeous when they reach full bloom.
I created the ikebana work with the branches of pussy willow for depicting the scenery of snowing before the spring comes. I hope it will be a bit warm the next week.
