It rained last three days in Montpellier, and it brings us a pleasant breeze today. I feel the beginning of autumn with a fresh air.
The flower of cockscomb reminds me of this season, at the end of summer as they are arranged at every flower shop around the Obon period in Japan. I like the texture that resembles the gorgeous cloth. I used it for the flower work this week in order to express the transition of the season from summer to autumn.
The vase is made in Greek, at the small island called Sifnos. It is famous for the pottery, and there are more than 10 pottery shops in this island.
