The branches of smoke tree inspired me to create an ikebana work as I really like the form and the texture such as a bank of clouds.

This tree belongs to the family of lacquer tree, identified as the same species of the mango and the pistachio. Therefore, it smells good when we cut the branches.

I also used the flowers of the African lily and the calla because the colors are more vivid than the one of the smoke tree.
